AS AÇÕES DAS INSTITUIÇÕES PÚBLICAS E PRIVADAS SOBRE O PATRIMÔNIO CULTURAL FERROVIÁRIO DA LINHA PARANAGUÁ-CURITIBA (ESTRADA DE FERRO DO PARANÁ)

Abstract

This research has an objective of analyse actions from public institutions and privates about cultural patrimony of the railroad Paranagua-Curitiba (Parana Railway). Therefore, this patrimony is subject to interference from several institutions that directly or indirectly join in the choice process, preservation and use of goods. As a limitation of the research and its representation on the railroad, the study was based on railway stations. Thus, it was accounted a total of fourteen stations located in six municipalities of Parana (Paranaguá, Antonina, Morretes, Piraquara, Pinhais and Curitiba). At first, the research was based on a theoretical discussion of territory, public policy and cultural patrimony. Then it presents the history of the railroad, as well as railway stations covered in the survey, it was possible to show the condition and its current functionality. Finally, it sought to understand the actions (absences and overlap) of the institutions that are involved with this railroad patrimony, as well as the different situations presented in the preservation of the production process.
