Aplicação do experimento de Hertz atualizado, no ensino de ondas eletromagnéticas

Abstract

The learning of Brazilian students in science, presents a significant deficit when compared in the international scenario, according to indicators currently used, such as PISA - OECD for example. This is due to several socio-historical and cultural factors that demand adequate public policies, civil society mobilization and innovations by education professionals to leverage a renewal process in the country's education. In this context is the teaching in Physics, where students in general present, besides the difficulties in understanding, a certain aversion to the discipline, ignoring the charming side of this science. A proposal to assist in the solution of this problem was organized by electromagnetic waves, based on Lev Vygotsky's theory of socio-interactionist learning and the reproduction of the Heinrich Hertz experiment. This educational product was applied in a 3rd year class of a technical school of secundary education, being the class observed during the accomplishment of this activity, made some considerations in this respect and suggested some future works.
