Representações sociais da equipe de coordenação e docentes sobre o processo de formação profissional no Curso de Administração da Universidade Estadual de Ponta Grossa no período de 2015 a 2023

Abstract

This study aimed to investigate what determines the quality of the professional formation of graduates of the Administration course at the State University of Ponta Grossa, state of Paraná based on the thesis that the quality of the professional training of graduates is not determined by National Curriculum Guidelines by the curricular matrix of the course, but for the representation of these elements by the collegiate team and operationalized by the professors. For the foundation of the study and the theoretical analysis, a structural approach of the Theory of Social Representations, proposed by Abric, was adopted. The study is characterized as qualitative and quantitative and uses the IRAMUTEQ software for data analysis. The thesis demonstrates the construction of the Pedagogical Project of the administration course and analyzes the PPCs in force in the period 2015 to 2023, in order to allow the analysis of the Institution's formal socialization process, based on interviews carried out with the course coordination team represented by the course collegiate and structuring teaching core and teachers and concludes that the Social Representation of the National Curriculum Guidelines as a "Norm" by the coordination team, reduces the participation of this team in the construction process of the PPC, only, with no other action in the sense of operationalization of the project,and that the quality of the course is determined solely by the teaching action, at an institutional level.
