O uso do geogebra no ensino da geometria espacial para alunos do 2º ano do ensino médio

Abstract

The present work has as the objective of presenting didactic strategies using Geogebra, to turn the Space Geometry teaching more perceivable and efficient in relation to the pupils. Space geometric forms as polyhedrons and round bodies are presented in all places, like buildings, bridges, domestic utensils, and in diverse forms of food packaging. Thus, it is necessary that the pupils understand concepts and mathematical properties of some of these forms. For this, it is necessary that our pupils develop the interest, the stimulation, and the curiosity, with the intention of recognizing the Geometry application in its day the day. Thus, we search, with this work, to contribute for the Space Geometry teaching, and learning, with the intention of using the available technological resources, to awake the pupils' interest for the content, in a way that the lessons become more attractive and pleasant. For the elaboration of this work, we looked to carry through a bibliographical research on Geometry and the technological use in the school. This research opted for the use of the software Geogebra as a support tool to the Mathematics teaching, in special the Space Geometry content. The research was carried out with two 2º year Middle School groups. But only one of the groups used Geogebra during the lessons. In the end of the activities an evaluation was applied and the results of both groups, who had participated of this research, compared, with the intention to evaluate the contribution of the use of the technology to the implantation of this project in the classroom. We observe that: (1) The lessons with the use of Geogebra had provided a more pleasant and pleasant environment. (2) The construction, visualization, and manipulation of space geometric figures using Geogebra were important to answer doubts and questions that the expositive lessons, with picture and chalk, had not been able to answer.
