O trabalho dos motoristas de aplicativos em Ponta Grossa: uma análise do fenômeno da uberização.

Abstract

From the 1970s, several changes triggered in the economic world led to the competitiveness intensification and the capitalist mode of production reorganization, whose mark in labor relations has been the flexibilization promoted by neoliberalism. In this logic, the work mediated by platform/application is expanded, a phenomenon designated in different ways in contemporary literature, in this study adopting the terminology uberization. The dissertation object starts from the dialectical historical materialism framework, with a qualitative approach to analyze the aplication drive´s work in Ponta Grossa-PR. To understand this process, qualitative interviews were conducted with six subjects who worked as an application driver in the city of Ponta Grossa in 2020. The data collected in the interviews were categorized and studied through content analysis, with the aim of understanding how the Worker's life is modified by these new platforms.
