Abstract

Among the places that have consolidated tourist activity inside the Campos Gerais National Park (PNCG) is the attractive Furnas Gêmeas, object of analysis of the present study. The place is characterized by the feature of karstic relief with circular shape of a large diameter, formed by landslides and dissolutions. The area does not have all the infrastructure necessary to receive and meet all visitors' needs. In response to this, visitors were monitored at the entrance of the attractive Furnas Gêmeas, through the use of the Game Camera tool coupled in a tree. The methodology applied was bibliographical, documental and field (in loco) researches, the technique for data collection included using the camera. The objective was to identify how many visitors enter the trail through automatic photos records at 3-minutes, 1-minute, 30- seconds, and 1-second time slots. After, this images were analyzed in the Game Finder software and the tabulation of data was made in Excel. Then there was the identification of which times, days of the week and month were concentrated the greater flow of visitors. On December 08, 2018, an afternoon of field with direct observations was made, the count of visitors was given through a Manual Counter of Track, to compare with the same date in 2017. The data was recorded in a period of six months, beginning in November 2017 and ending in April 2018, the camera captured images from 6am and finished at 8pm. Through analysis of the results, it is observed that the activity of visitation in the Furnas Gêmeas is the contemplation of the landscape, suggesting that the sunset was something that aroused the interest of these visitors.
