Abstract

The culture of plant tissues is one of the most successful areas of biotechnology, having highlight in industrial and commercial plants for various applications, such as genetic improvement and also for plant physiology research and in vitro industrial production of secondary compounds. The micropropagation is a tissue culture technique, considered the greatest impact on agriculture due to the fact contribute to the development of healthy plants and higher quality. One of the main problems of conventional micropropagation process is spent on labor. One solution to this problem is the use of bioreactors for the production of plants in vitro, being the latest technology and the most promising alternative in this area. In this context, this study aimed to develop an integrated temporary immersion bioreactor system to a computer system. The system developed can be used for production in large scale and research. It was also shown part of a protocol, demonstrating that the amounts of culture medium between 175 ml and 180 have best results for the production of Blackberry Cv. Tupy in temporary immersion bioreactors systems.
