Abstract

It is not from today that is possible to realize that despite the prestige that physics receive from society, the students - generally speaking - are not much receptive to it. It is actually considered by them one of the most difficult subjects in high school. However, looking to the education history, nothing has been more effective and present as experiments - even in the different technological revolutions. Experimentation is flexible: it can be used in playful classes, in scientific research, and in inquiry-based learning projects. Following this way of thinking, the idea was born: to develop a practical electrical kit, easy to build, and effective concerning the skills and abilities suggested by Brazilian National Common Curriculum basis (BNCC) to high school, and visually interesting. This dissertation aims to present a product anchored in a constructivist teaching concept, supported by the ideas of John Dewey and David Ausubel. And use it in a sequence as an alternative of electrical circuits teaching, through a teaching active methodology known as Inquiry Based Learning (IBL). This is a teaching method focused on the student knowledge discover, in which the teacher becomes someone that is there to guide and motivate the discoveries of the students. This proposal allows the students to have the opportunity of discovering, interacting with other students and the teacher, and discover by himself the fundamental electrodynamics concepts.
