Páginas em luta: políticas públicas para mulheres como pauta em produções do jornalismo alternativo feminista brasileiro de 1970 e 1980

Abstract

This research intends to identify how the public policies for women were journalistic ap-proached by the feminists alternative newspapers Nós Mulheres, Brasil Mulher and Mulherio. Specifically, the objectives are 1) to quantify the news that approach public policies for wom-en as theme; 2) to analyze in depth a restrict and representative universe of texts and 3) to recognize the different approaches that were used by the feminists alternative newspapers to deal with this script. The object submitted to empirical analyze encompasses the news about public policies for women that unfold themselves in labor, health and civil rights. To method-ologically develop this dissertation, we used bibliographic research and content analysis. 109 texts about public policies for women were found. 42 correspond to women’s health, 29 to civil rights and 38 to labor rights. From this universe, 16 news were selected to be analyzed in dept – six from the first category, four from the second and six from the third. Their journal-istic features – editorial line, sources and search for information – were the main references to form the analysis.
