Cultura em revista: os enquadramentos das editorias de cultura das revistas Veja e CartaCapital

Abstract

The present researh intends to identify how culture is presented in weekly magazines. To achieve this objective, it was observed as timespan the first semester of 2018 of the culture sections of the magazines Veja and CartaCapital. Using the indirect perspective of framing analysis, in which the frames are given by textual elements, characteristics are identified such as scope, subthemes and placements. The grouping of these informations by the resemblance they had with each other, and the difference they had with the others allows us to identify persistent patterns which, according to the methodology, presents the cultural frames of these magazines.
