UNIVERSIDADE PÚBLICA & IDENTIDADE ORGANIZACIONAL: História e cultura na construção identitária do PPGCSA-UEPG.

Abstract

This research aims to present a conception of identity formation of the Postgraduate Program in Applied Social Sciences at the State University of Ponta Grossa, based on the academic productions of the research centers, as well as based on its curricular and historical structure. Based on a historicist approach to the origins and directions of data for the Brazilian public university, and also from perspectives on culture and identity in Applied Social Sciences such as Clifford Geertz and Berger and Luckmann, mixed with the concepts of management and administration betrayed by Albert and Wetten, mainly with regard to Organizational Identity (IO) and Corporate Identity (IC), the work intends to propose a measurement of the program's identity, and how it presents itself to the community, whether academic or not. Bringing an impactful event to state universities in Paraná, this being the General Law of Universities (LGU), the work includes a Situational Analysis, based on bibliographical research, direct and indirect, and also on a series of interviews with the coordinators of research centers.
