ESTUDO DAS FUNÇÕES – APLICAÇÕES NO ENSINO MÉDIO

Abstract

This work aims to study the functions from a practical vision , using as support issues based on scientific everyday situations. This approach helps the student to understand the importance of the study of functions through a list of issues supported by mathematics of day by day as: analysis of electricity and water bills, a taxi ride fare, graphical analysis of the exponential growth of a bacteria in a laboratory study or radioactive decay of chemical elements. The problems allow students of the first year of high school classes to analyze , with the help of GRAPHMATICA software , linear behavior related functions and curves of exponential functions . Also allow analyze why these functions in many applications, have positive domain.
