dc.description.abstractThe present study aims to identify the changes that football can provide in the lives of its former athletes. For this, we sought to investigate the trajectory of former athletes from the basic categories of Operário. As these athletes were of school age, the investigation took place from the observation of this double journey. The research is classified as exploratory and qualitative, since the structured interviews was used to understand and describe the trajectory of former athletes. The selection of participants was carried out using the Snowball method. For the analysis of the interviews, Content Analysis was used based on Bardin's methodological contributions. The analysis of the interviews made it possible to identify that there is a prioritization of sports training compared to the time dedicated to schooling, since the interviewees say that during the double shift period that they needed to share their tasks, football always took priority over studies. However, there were no reports of school dropouts. In this research, no significant damage was observed with the double journey, contrary to the initial assumptions, it is concluded that all respondents completed their studies, entered higher education institutions and followed their lives normally, without social damage related to football.pt_BR
dc.description.resumoO presente estudo tem como objetivo identificar quais as mudanças que o futebol pode proporcionar na vida de seus ex-atletas. Para isto, buscou-se investigar a trajetória de ex-atletas das categorias de base do Operário. Como estes atletas encontravam-se em idade escolar, a investigação ocorreu à partir da observação desta dupla jornada. A pesquisa é classificada como exploratória qualitativa, uma vez que utilizou-se da entrevista estruturada para compreender e descrever a trajetória dos ex-atletas. A seleção dos participantes foi realizada através do método Snowball. Para a análise das entrevistas utilizou-se a Análise de Conteúdo à partir das contribuições metodológicas de Bardin. A análise das entrevistas permitiu identificar que existe uma priorização do treinamento esportivo comparado com o tempo dedicado a escolarização, pois, os entrevistados afirmam que durante o período de dupla jornada quando precisavam dividir seus afazeres, o futebol sempre teve prioridade sobre os estudos. Contudo, não houve nenhum relato de abandono escolar. Na presente pesquisa não foi observado nenhum prejuízo significativo com a dupla jornada, contrariando os pressupostos iniciais, conclui- se que todos os entrevistados concluíram os estudos, adentraram em instituições de ensino superior e seguiram suas vidas normalmente, sem prejuízos sociais relacionados ao futebol.pt_BR
