"Além de amar mulheres, amar a mim mesma": vivências lesbianas de mulheres cis e deslocamento espacial entre cidades no Paraná – Brasil

Abstract

This work aims to understand how spatial displacements between cities of different sizes in Paraná imply the experiences of lesbian sexualities of cis women. To make this possible, we compiled 9 interviews using the snowball technique with migrant lesbian women. The content of the interviews was transcribed and systematized using the content analysis technique based on Bardin (2002) and Silva e Silva (2016). The results demonstrated that structural elements such as the patriarchal family, religious mechanisms and compulsory heterosexuality alleged to hide lesbian sexuality in smaller cities in relation to larger cities, which indicates that the experience is expressed spatially in different ways and influenced by the spatial dynamics in question. As another point of discovery, it is elucidated that through epistemological investigation into the Geographies of Sexualities, it was found that there is a growing field to be explored considering migratory studies and social identities, since geographic space is experienced in a heterogeneous. With this, it is understood that the investigation into spatial displacements and lesbianism is a possibility for a geographic science to reformulate the hegemonic perspective of thinking about geographic spatialities and migratory practices.
