O telejornalismo em uma emissora pública, educativa e local: características noticiosas do ‘Jornal da Educativa’

Abstract

The Educational Television of Ponta Grossa - Paraná was founded in the year 2000 and became part of the public broadcasting system in Brazil. The station broadcast its newscast on the day of its inauguration and has since kept the show on the air. Staff and equipment structure are replaced primarily by producing the ‘Jornal da Educativa’ for one week. The research seeks to characterize a news production of television news from TV Educativa. The problem of work is the debate on the most important and important issues of information management. To achieve the objectives of the research, authors are mobilized that debate an initiative as the construction of reality as Guerra (2008), Wolf (2009) and Gadini (2007). Telejornalismo and Telejornalismo Public, Bucci (2010), Coutinho (2013) and Rothberg (2011). Subsequently, the methodological steps of research are presented through the analysis of the content of television news and the use of interviews as complementary techniques. The dissertation advances the characterization of the news and identifying the patterns that are used to produce, and in addition, through the interviews with the broadcasting professionals, the power to spread the behind the scenes of a news production on an educational television. The research concludes that the news published by the ‘Jornal da Educativa’ are mostly linked to the City of Ponta Grossa. What brings the debate about a public and educational broadcaster to show, in detriment of other guidelines, news projects, services, inaugurations of the municipal government.
