Abstract

This paper presented a proposed for teaching astronomy to use educators and assumed that thinking about the difficulties in education, pursuing the quality of education requires thinking about practices that can streamline the teacher's work. Astronomy teaching is part of this context, presenting difficulties regarding its realization. The present work proposed to carry out a project for Astronomy teaching, employing lectures, seeking an alternative teaching structure, which stimulates the learner to take an active role in learning, thus contributing to their interest and the possibility of developing scientific reasoning. The educational product prepared corresponds to five lectures aimed at all stages of Basic Education. This project applied to the following classes: Pre-school, pre-school class; Elementary School I, third-grade class; Elementary School II, sixth-grade class; High School, first-year class; and Youth and Adult Education (EJA), high school class. We highlight establishing the relationship between science and daily life to can better understand the space around him/her through connections between what learned and what is studied, which leads to the construction of a solid knowledge base in children and young people. The proposal's idea is to allow the learner to "learn how to learn," to build notions and knowledge related to scientific concepts.
