Abstract

In Professional and Technological Education, the process of insertion into teaching takes place through the desire of different professionals to teach, who assume the denomination of teacher without many times having received the teacher training granted in the degrees. The bachelors become teachers and need, in addition to their specific knowledge of area, acquire and develop the knowledge and practices linked to teaching, a relation not valued in current legislation. Graduates, in turn, see themselves in workshops and laboratories that require a knowledge not appropriate in the degree. For this reason, the present research has as problematic: How do bachelors, technologists and graduates who work in Professional and Technological Education at Senai - PR have constituted the teaching knowledge? The objectives of the research are: to analyze the constitution of the teaching knowledge of bachelors, technologists and graduates who work in Vocational and Technological Education; unveiling the process of association of initial and continuing training, pedagogical practice and teaching knowledge among bachelors, technologists and graduates who work in Vocational and Technological Education. The bibliographic reference of the research is based on Gimeno-Sacristán (1998), Gauthier (2013) and Shulman (1986, 2004). The research is qualitative analysis, based on Bardin (2016), from the categories of analysis that emerged throughout the research process. The subjects of the research were eight professors of Professional and Technological Education, among bachelors, technologists and graduates, from six institutions of Professional and Technological Education of four cities of the State of Paraná. Data were collected through questionnaires and semi-structured interviews with the teachers of these professional education institutions. The results obtained demonstrate that the formation of the teaching knowledge takes place through initial training, continuing pedagogical and technical training, as well as professional experience in industry. The development of teacher knowledge permeates the pedagogical practice of the teacher. It is also concluded that the Professional and Technological Education, offered by Senai - PR, is aimed at assisting the industrial bourgeoisie and forms workers who experience capitalist society in a naturalized way.
