Abstract

This dissertation presents a discussion about the continuing education of teachers who work in AEE rooms and who serve students enrolled in the early years of elementary school. Considering that technological advances point to new resources and tools that can be used with the objective of improving the conditions of access to knowledge, the Universal Design for Learning (UDL) is presented as a proposal for an inclusive practice. In this sense, it is proposed the elaboration of a book in digital format (e-book), with the directions for a course of continued formation and in service, using the DUA as a foundation and based on collaborative teaching, for the teachers of the Municipality of Castro - PR, that work in ESA. The guiding question of the research was configured as: to what extent an e-book containing the details of a proposal for continued and in-service training can contribute to the organization and realization of courses aimed at improving the professional qualification of the AEE teacher, in regarding the adoption of new inclusive practices and technological resources and active methodologies so that education is, in fact, inclusive? As a general objective, it was proposed: to analyze the contributions of the e-book to a continuing and in-service training course for teachers, working in AEE rooms in the Municipality of Castro, based on the UDL. The specific objectives defined were: to identify the theoretical, political and methodological assumptions of inclusive education in Brazil; to point out the applicability of Collaborative Teaching and Universal Design for Learning for the pedagogical proposal of AEE in the Municipality of Castro and to prepare an e-book with a proposal for continued and in-service training, contemplating the theory and practice of inclusive actions in the classroom class, based on collaborative teaching and Universal Design for Learning. The research had a qualitative approach and is configured as applied research, because it aims to produce knowledge by the researcher and subjects participating in the research, as well as being characterized as development research, given the production of the e-book. As a result, it is considered that the e-book, which allows the study and reflections on collaborative teaching and the DUA, constitutes an alternative that, effectively, can contribute to having a quality inclusive education, although there is a lack of research. so that the instruments and guidelines can be increasingly improved.
