Convergência da demanda efetiva de automóveis no Brasil

Abstract

The present work investigated the convergence of the per capita automobile fleet of the Brazilian microregions, through the processes of absolute convergence, conditional and tested the hypothesis of the existence of convergence clubs, from 2004 to 2015. In addition, we also considered the lag spatial distribution and overflow of explanatory variables. This analysis sought to verify the existence of β coefficients and specific convergence velocities for each model presented. In order to reach the objectives, it was necessary to investigate the space-time dynamics of the effective demand of automobiles per capita, in order to locate the patterns of spatial association, in order to perform the search for significant spatial clusters among the Brazilian microregions. tools of Exploratory Analysis of Spatial Data (ESDA), Cluster Analysis and Spatial Econometrics. The study confirmed the hypothesis of homogenization of the demand for automobiles per capita in addition to considering the existence of convergence clubs.
