Um Leminski antropófago

Abstract

This research aims to identify Paulo Leminski as an anthropophagist writer from the analysis of selected poems from his book Caprichos e Relaxos from 1983. This book, which was a successful sales and that already brings in its name all the constant duplicity of the poet, prints the Leminskian identity that we will try to recognize based on the presupposition of modernist anthropophagy. In this sense, we seek to establish possible relations between the Oswaldian anthropophagy of the twenties and the border script of the roguish samurai of the eighties, understanding how the reflection of Oswald de Andrade remains alive in the contemporary world and how it appears updated in Paulo Leminski. Through literature reviews by authors such as João Cezar de Castro Rocha, Leyla Perrone Moisés, Gonzalo Aguilar, and Haroldo de Campos, among others, we intend to rescue, understand and make a cut of three important moments in contemporary Brazilian literature, such as Concrete Poetry, the Tropicalism and the Marginal Poetry that also update Oswald de Andrade and integrate the construction of the multiple faces of the writer from Paraná. The construction of this multiple Leminski, who lived between pop and erudite, caprice and relaxation, rigor and trickery, proves that the persona of the Buddhist poet Rimbaud- Nagô can speak to all, updating the Oswaldian spirit, and perceiving in anthropophagy an anthropological power can be a key of our Brazilianness.
