Abstract
O presente artigo tem como objetivo reconstruir a evolução histórica dos órgãos da imprensa no Brasil desde o Império até a Primeira República, levantando as principais características dos jornais mais importantes da época e sua relação com o contexto histórico.
The objective of this article is to rebuild the historical evaluation of the press organs in Brazil, from the Empire to the first Republic time, uncovering the main characteristics of the most important periodicals from the period studied and their relation with the historical context.
