Francisco Ferrer y Guardia: o racionalismo pedagógico em terras brasileiras

Abstract

No final do século XIX e início do século XX , o episódio da imigração trouxe para terras brasileiras não somente povos mas também idéias que se diferenciavam das aceitas pela sociedade burguesa instalada em nosso território. Espanhóis, portugueses e italianos trazem idéias de uma sociedade sem governantes; a anarquia. Perseguem uma educação laica que esteja sob a responsabilidade da comunidade, a fim de que a ideologia do Estado não comprometa a liberdade educacional e, assim, possa ser formado o homem integral. Para levar tal iniciativa a cabo, fundam em São Paulo, no ano de 1910, a Comissão Pró-escola Moderna. A Escola Moderna a qual nos referimos neste estudo trazia consigo o pensamento educacional de Francisco Ferrer Y Guardia, educador catalão que é o tema principal deste estudo. O que está sendo apresentado neste momento, constituiu resultado da primeira fase da pesquisa, onde se objetivava levantar e analisar a vida, método e ligação de Francisco Ferrer Y Guardia com os anarco-sindicalistas brasileiros, por meio de pesquisa bibliográfica sobre o tema. Esta pesquisa tem o apoio do Arquivo Edgard Leuenroth da UNICAMP e também da Fundação Francisco Ferrer Y Guardia situada na cidade de Barcelona na Espanha.

In the end of the XIX century XIX and beginning of the XX century, the episode of immigration not only brought to Brazilian lands peoples but also ideas that differentiated from the accepted ones for the bourgeois society installed in our territory. Spanish, Portuguese and Italian immigrantes, brought ideas of a society without government; the anarchy. They pursued a not governmental education that is under the responsibility of the community, so that the ideology of the State does not compromise the educational freedom and, thus, the integral man can be formed. To undertake such initiative, they establish in São Paulo, in 1910, the Commission Pro Modern school. This Modern School which is presented in this study was under the educational thought of Francisco Ferrer Y Guardia, a Catalan educator who is the main subject of this study. What he is being presented at this moment, constituted the result of the first phase of this research, which aims at raising and to analyzing the life, method and links of Francisco Ferrer Y Guardia to the Brazilian anarco-syndicalists, through bibliographical research on the subject. This research has the support of the Archive Edgard Leuenroth at UNICAMP and the Foundation Francisco Ferrer Y Guardia situated in the city of Barcelona in Spain.
