dc.description.abstractThe present study aimed to analyze the interrelation between the burnout and quality of work life of teachers from the Municipal Education of Imbituva, in Paraná State. The study links the bibliographical to the exploratory research, being the results presented as papers. The two former papers aimed to identify in the literature the productions related to the burnout and the quality of work life (QWL) between the teachers referred, taking into account the setting up of theoretical support to the development of the third paper, which features the research as descriptive and quantitative, cross-sectional, developed with the total number of 122 teachers who act in the Municipal Education of Imbituva, in Paraná State. The instruments of data collection were a questionnaire of socio-demographic and professionals data, the Maslach Burnout Inventory-MBI and the Total Quality of Work Life (TQWL-42). The researches results indicate the teachers constitute a vulnerable group to the burnout, and demonstrate the working conditions and organization usually are related to the QWL and burnout. There is a lack of studies related to basic education teachers’ quality of work life. Regarding the teachers from the Municipal Education of Imbituva, the most are satisfied with the QWL and, regarding the burnout, the averages observed indicated low probability of its occurrence. Throughout the joint analysis of burnout and QWL levels, the existence of significant correlations was verified, which suggests the QWL and the burnout are closely related in the people studied, showing the interrelation of both variables. Thus, the higher is the QWL satisfaction, the lower is the occurrence probability of professional burnout. This study can help planning interventions to improve the teachers’ working and health conditions in the city studied, as well as contributes to reinforce studies in the area.pt_BR
dc.description.resumoO presente trabalho teve como objetivo analisar a inter-relação entre a síndrome de burnout e a qualidade de vida no trabalho dos professores da Rede Municipal de Ensino de Imbituva-PR. O estudo aliou pesquisa bibliográfica à pesquisa exploratória, sendo os resultados apresentados no formato de artigos. Através dos dois primeiros artigos buscou-se identificar na literatura as produções relativas à síndrome de burnout e a qualidade de vida no trabalho (QVT) entre os referidos professores, tendo em vista a constituição de suporte teórico para a construção do terceiro artigo, que caracterizou a pesquisa descritiva e quantitativa, de delineamento transversal, desenvolvida num total de 122 professores que atuam na Rede Municipal de Ensino de Imbituva-PR. Os instrumentos de coleta de dados foram um questionário de dados sociodemográficos e profissionais, o Maslach Burnout Inventory-MBI e o Total Quality of Work Life (TQWL-42). Os resultados das pesquisas indicam que os professores constituem um grupo vulnerável ao burnout, e demonstram que as condições e a organização do trabalho comumente estão associadas aos níveis de QVT e síndrome de burnout. Observou-se também a escassez de estudos relacionados à qualidade de vida no trabalho de professores da educação básica. Em relação aos professores da Rede Municipal de Imbituva-PR, verificou-se que a maioria se encontra satisfeita com a QVT e, em relação à síndrome de burnout, as médias observadas indicaram probabilidade baixa para a ocorrência desta. Através da análise conjunta dos níveis de burnout e QVT, verificou-se a existência de correlações bastante significativas, o que sugere que a QVT e a síndrome de burnout estão intimamente relacionadas no público estudado, demonstrando a inter-relação de ambas as variáveis. Dessa forma, infere-se que quanto maior a satisfação com a QVT, menor a probabilidade de ocorrência da síndrome do esgotamento profissional. Acredita-se que o presente estudo pode auxiliar no planejamento de intervenções voltadas à melhoria das condições de saúde e trabalho dos professores no município estudado, assim como contribui para o fortalecimento de estudos na área.pt_BR
