Coccinelídeos (insecta, coleoptera) presentes em hortaliças (Ponta Grossa - Pr)

Abstract

O presente trabalho teve como principal objetivo realizar um levantamento sistemático dos representantes da família Coccinellidae que ocorrem em hortaliças da cidade de Ponta Grossa - PR, visto que há uma escassez de dados referentes à biodiversidade e à distribuição de tais insetos nessa região.As coletas ocorreram em intervalos de quinze dias, aproximadamente, entre julho de 2004 e agosto de 2006, nas hortas do ColégioAgrícola EstadualAugusto Ribas (Universidade Estadual de Ponta Grossa). Os coleópteros foram coletados manualmente, sacrificados e etiquetados. Para cada inseto, foram registrados os dados de coleta. No laboratório, foram triados em morfo-espécies, montados e identificados. Foram registrados 318 indivíduos de coccinelídeos sendo onze espécies predadoras Cryptolaemus montrouzieri, Scymnus sp.,Hyperaspis festiva, Harpasus aureus, Coleomegilla quadrifasciata, Cycloneda sanguinea, Eriopis connexa, Harmonia axyridis, Hippodamia convergens, Olla v-nigrum, Hippodamia sp.; uma espécie fitófaga Epilachna paenulata; e uma micófaga Psyllobora gratiosa.

The present work had as its main objective to carry out a systematic survey of the representatives of the Coccinellidae family which occur on vegetables in the region of the municipality of Ponta Grossa - PR, because there is little data referring to the biodiversity and the distribution of these insects in the area. The captures occurred at intervals of fifteen days, approximately, between July/2004 and August/2006, in the vegetable gardens of a school named Colégio Agrícola Estadual Augusto Ribas (Universidade Estadual de Ponta Grossa). The coleopterous were collected manually, sacrificed and labeled. For each insect, the collecting data were registered. In the laboratory, the coleopterous were classified into morpho-species, fixed on a support and identified. 138 Coccinellidae individuals were registered, being eleven predators species: Cryptolaemus montrouzieri, Scymnus sp., Hyperaspis festiva, Harpasus aureus, Coleomegilla quadrifasciata, Cycloneda sanguinea, Eriopis connexa, Harmonia axyridis, Hippodamia convergens, Olla v-nigrum, Hippodamia sp.; one phytophagous species, Epilachna paenulata; and one that feeds on fungi, Psyllobora gratiosa.
