O ensino religioso e a participação do professor de História na consolidação da disciplina no Paraná

Abstract

This dissertation analyze, through a historical panorama, bibliographical discussion and field research, the current scenario of Religious Education in the State of Paraná, in line with the Federal Constitution and Federal Law 9.475 / 97, which determines that teaching religious is an integral part of the basic education of the citizen, of mandatory offer and optional registration and which prohibits indoctrination and proselytism. It analyzes a brief overview of the history of the Discipline in Brazil and how it has transformed from the indoctrination classes of the Catholic religion into the current model applied in the state of Paraná, which consider the sacred as a social and cultural phenomenon. We researched the laws, both national and the State of Paraná, about the discipline, and we draw a profile of the Teaching Professional who worked in the discipline in the years 2019 and 2020 in the State of Paraná, as well as the impressions and opinions of History Teachers about it.
