SINCRONIZACÃO DE CAOS EM UMA REDE COM INTERACÃO DE LONGO ALCANCE

Abstract

We considered coupled maps lattices with long-range interactions to study chaos synchronization. Coupled map lattices have been intensively investigated since early 80's as models to understand many spatiotemporal phenomena observed in extended spattially system, consequently spatiotemporal chaos. We used the complex order parameter to quantify chaos synchronization for a one-dimensional chain of coupled logistic maps with a coupling strength which varies with the lattice in a power-law fashion. Depending on the range of the interactions, complete chaos synchronization may be attained. Furthermore, we also calculated the Lyapunov spectrum which give us information about the degreeof chaoticity of the lattice.
