Materialismo histórico e dialético: uma discussão sobre as categorias centrais

Abstract

O presente artigo apresenta as principais categorias que fundamentam o método materialista histórico e dialético desenvolvido por Marx, objetivando contribuir para a discussão metodológica da pesquisa em educação. Trata-se de tentar entender as dificuldades e desafios do estatuto teórico de obras marxianas e de autores que abordam tal concepção metodológica e que possibilitam compreender o sentido e a direção da educação no âmbito do modo de produção capitalista.

This paper presents the main categories which underpinning the dialectical and historical materialism method developed by Marx aiming at contributing to the discussion on the educational research methodology. It discusses the difficulties and challenges of the theoretical statute of Marx’ work as well as of the authors who address this methodological conception which help to understand the meaning and direction of the education in the field of the capitalist mode of production.
