Pesquisa em alfabetização científica na Educação Infantil: Cenário Nacional e Internacional.

Abstract

It is important the research about Scientific Literacy (SL) in Early Childhood Education, although it is an area where studies show a lack of exploration of the subject, it is necessary to develop SL since this educational level, because children show interest in learning science and exploring the environment surrounding them. Thus, the general objective of this research is: " Investigate how Scientific Literacy is being addressed in scientific publications and Official Documents in the context of Early Childhood Education". To reach this objective, two specific objectives were elaborated: I. To investigate how scientific literacy is handled in Early Childhood Education in the national and international scientific production. II. To analyze the text corpus created through abstracts searched in the databases using the Iramuteq software; this study is configured as a Bibliographic and Documentary research, being of a qualitative nature. For this, several authors were used to substantiate the study, some of them being Carvalho and Sasseron (2011,2018), Santos (2007), Cunha (2017,2018), Laugksch (2000), Lorenzetti and Delizoicov (2001), Chassot (2003). Soares (2003), Tfouni (1995), Kleiman (1995), the official document of the Base Nacional Comum Curricular, Brasil (2017) and the Referencial Curricular do Paraná, Paraná (2018), Gil (2008), and other authors who also had their importance for the construction of this work. It is used as an instrument of data collection, searches in databases: Biblioteca Digital Brasileira de Teses e Dissertações (BDTD), Portal de Periódicos Capes and Scopus. The data collected in according to the procedures of a systematic review and its analysis is done with an adaptation of Bardin's content analysis with the aid of the Iramuteq Software. With the set of data obtained and analyzed, it can be seen the low number of studies found related to Scientific Literacy in Early Childhood Education in an indication that there is much to be explored in the National and International scenarios with respect to this theme.
