Abstract

My doctorate language has as a central question how foreign-language companies as leaders in the production of Brazilian geographic knowledge? To know which were asphalt main statistics in the constituent of their scientific trajectories, to work the study was necessary to heap than the quantitative data, but mainly the qualitative data. Why the Brazilian Geography Observatory in partnership with the public built, which included 17,636 articles extracted from 90 online journals, classified in the triennium 2013-2015. In a second moment, the number of data of a routing pattern, which is not finalized, is the number of 52 centers in the construction of the narratives of the Brazilian Geography. Of these researchers, I was able to conduct 16 interviews (7 men and 9 women) being analyzed in depth. The methodology of Silva e Silva (2016) made possible an understanding of the intelligibility of the phenomenon. The semantic networks of masculine discourse emphasize that the men maintain a discursive structure little connected between the professional world and the familiar life, constructing a trajectory directed to the world of the scientific work, seconding the familiar relations. However, the semantic networks of feminine discourse show that, as women present difficulties in separating the academic and family universe, maintaining the form, a complex discourse along their trajectories that are not always harmonious, but conflicting. This study was based on power strategies, as they were organized in power geometries. This configuration ends up undergoing the changes of market and, consequently, the capacity to influence the field and its forms of experience in the scientific making.
