Abstract
Mathematics is currently one of the most feared and unpopular subjects for most students. This is usually because of the way in which its content is presented, full of totally decontextualized formulas and abstract concepts that must simply be reproduced in the evaluations. In this work, we sought to work on spatial geometry differently from the traditional way, allowing the student to develop its potentialities, such as describing, interacting and understanding the space in which they live. It is known that a playful practice, provides a more enjoyable and meaningful learning, encouraging the student to learn more creatively and dynamically. Therefore, in order to minimize the problems encountered in teaching learning about Space Geometry, a game called Robber Geometric Hill was developed. Two classes of 6th grade of elementary school were analyzed. In one of them the game Steals Geometric Hill was applied as a game of fixing content. At the end of the content, an evaluation was performed with both classes and the results were analyzed. It was found that in the room where the game was applied, students performed better in the assessment, demonstrating that they recognized the solids, their elements, their characteristics and their planning. One can then realize the importance of playfulness in the classroom, because with the help of the game, students could learn by playing, having fun and feeling preasure.
