A representação social de professores universitários na ativa da Universidade Estadual de Ponta Grossa sobre sua aposentadoria, regida pelo regime próprio de previdência social, após a emenda à constituição do estado do Paraná n.º 45 de 2019

Abstract

The research aimed to analyze the Social Representations from the perspective of state university professors who are neither retired nor receiving any social security benefits, affiliated with the State University of Ponta Grossa (UEPG), regarding their retirement under the Own Social Security Regime. The study was structured into four chapters. In the first chapter, a contextualization was provided, along with an overview of the social security rules to which the subjects are subjected and the changes that have occurred. Additionally, the subjects of the study were presented, consisting of 45 tenured and active professors at UEPG, who were subdivided into three groups of 15 professors each, based on their date of entry into public service, which determines the different applicable social security rules. The second chapter addressed the Theory of Social Representations and explained how it was applied in the research using the structural method. In the third chapter, a systematic review was conducted, and the methodological strategies employed were presented, including the selection of the software used for content analysis, IRAMUTEQ. In the fourth chapter, the collected data was analyzed, and the social representation of the subjects was identified. Furthermore, inferences were made regarding possible actions and attitudes that the groups of professors, who form the broader faculty group, may adopt in the future as a consequence of their social representations. This research did not formulate a hypothesis but instead relied on analytical categories, which consisted of seven distinct categories. Data collection was conducted through semi-structured interviews, and three stimulus terms were analyzed using the Free Word Association Technique.
