Instituições escolares no Brasil colonial e imperial

Abstract

Neste artigo apresentamos o processo de transformação da sociedade no período que as primeiras Instituições Escolares foram criadas no Brasil, que está ligada ao modo pelo qual os homens se reproduzem socialmente e a forma pelo qual eles organizam o modo de produção. Muito embora o artigo tenha como objeto a Instituição Escolar procura-se estudá-lo no processo de transformação da sociedade e não isoladamente. As Instituições Escolares que foram criadas no Brasil acompanham o movimento e os interesses da sociedade, que são determinados pelo regime de produção. Muito embora algumas das Instituições Escolares tenham se tornado marcos histórico, que já foram objeto de estudos, não invalida o presente estudo que procura situar o objeto em relação à formação da sociedade brasileira nos períodos: colonial e imperial. Em resumo, não se pode compreender o processo de criação das instituições escolares, sem examinar a maneira pela qual se organiza a estrutura de apropriação (econômica) e dominação (política) do país.

In this article we present the process of transformation of the society during the period in which the first School Institutions were created in Brazil, what is connected to the way the men reproduce socially and the form by which they organize the ways of production. Although the article has as object the School Institutions, we seek to study it inside the process of transformation of the society and not isolated. The School Institutions that were created in Brazil follow the movement and the interests of the society, which are determined by the regimen of production. Even though some of the School Institutions have become historical landmarks, and so, have already been object of studies, it does not invalidate the present study that aims at pointing out the object in relation to the formation of the Brazilian society in the following periods: imperial and colonial. In summary, we cannot understand the process of creation of the School institutions, without examining the way the structure of appropriation (economic) and domination (politics) of the country is organized.
