Possibilidades e Limites do Atendimento Educacional Especializado nas Escolas

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the possibilities and limits of specialized educational care by public schools, through semi-structured interviews that took place in five schools in the municipality of Capanema, in the State of Paraná, to seek to understand how the actions of the teaching team are fundamental in the educational process. We opted for the qualitative approach, documentary research, descriptive and field, being used as a tool for data collection, semi-structured interviews, conducted by the Google Meet application, due to the pandemic context. Five schools in the municipality that have a Type I Multifunctional Resource Room participated in this research. In the search to understand how the inclusion process happens, we seek to analyze the obstacles, difficulties and challenges through the limits that have been configured in the reality of the specialized educational care of the schools surveyed. Moreover, it seeks to point out the possibilities with regard to the processes of building an inclusive school and, consequently, a fairer society, based on respect for diversity and equity.
