| dc.description.abstract | This dissertation investigates the intrinsic relationship between territory, memory, and the linguistic manifestations of the Tremembé people, from the perspective of a devillaged indigenous woman in the process of reclamation (retomada). The central objective is to identify the "language of the Earth" and demonstrate how the indigenous subject transposes this immaterial communication through languages, aiming for the validation of ancestral thought as scientific knowledge. The concept of GeoGraphism is proposed as a hybrid epistemology that merges the Earth (Geo) with the visual and sensory representation of cosmologies (Graphism), manifesting in body inscriptions, rituals, and the cultural landscape itself. Methodologically, the work is anchored in Retomada —of an ontological and political nature— structured on the pillars of observing, listening, remembering, and speaking, as a strategy to confront Colonial Alzheimer's, defined as the traumatic erasure of original memory resulting from epistemic violence . The analysis encompasses family study in Fortaleza, Itapipoca, and Trairí, legitimizing orality and sensory experience as the foundations of a living science . Finally, the research redefines education as a system of water flows — headwaters, tributaries, and floodplains— advocating for a decolonial pedagogy that recognizes the Earth as an active agent of knowledge and teaching as a tool for identity regrowth. | |
