História e arqueologia marajoara: possibilidades para o ensino de história indígena

Abstract

The present work aims to reflect a greater visibility regarding the use of pre-colonial Marajoara culture as a teaching theme in the area of History, seeking to make it more dynamic as an object of study within the teaching of indigenous culture and history, including through a greater dialogue through other fields of knowledge, such as, for example, archeology. As well as analyzing the reasons for the indication of this indigenous culture, being more prominent in the teaching of history, rather than other native societies in particular, so focusing this given research on the need and given experiences to be developed in the making of teaching material referring to this theme: the marajoara archaeological culture. Exposing some didactic strategies both by other researchers, as well as by the author of this work now presented.
