A práxis política dos intelectuais orgânicos do movimento popular de luta - mpl-pg pelo direito à moradia no município de Ponta Grossa

Abstract

A luta por direitos é parte inerente à luta pela hegemonia e se inscreve como uma maneira de resistência às diferentes formas de opressão experimentadas no âmbito da sociedade capitalista. Nesse processo, se inscreve a luta pelo direito à moradia em diferentes contextos. No município de Ponta Grossa-Paraná, o Movimento Popular de Luta (MPL-PG) é atualmente um dos movimentos protagonistas na luta pela garantia do direito à moradia de grupos subalternos no espaço local. É esse movimento que dirige politicamente a Ocupação Urbana Ericson John Duarte (também chamada de “Comunidade Ericson John Duarte”, “Ocupação Andorinhas” ou "Ocupação no Parque das Andorinhas”), maior ocupação urbana de Ponta Grossa. Considerando essa realidade, a presente pesquisa teve por objetivo geral compreender a práxis política dos intelectuais orgânicos do MPL-PG na luta pelo direito à moradia no município de Ponta Grossa-PR. A pesquisa é de natureza qualitativa, de caráter exploratório e descritivo, com fases bibliográfica, documental e de campo. Com os resultados da pesquisa buscou-se contribuir com o debate sobre formação e práxis dos intelectuais do MPL-PG na luta pelo direito à moradia, por consequência publicizando a práxis “dos debaixo”, de um grupo subalterno e suas lideranças e suas potencialidades em face da luta pela hegemonia no espaço local. Os resultados das entrevistas realizadas junto dos sujeitos da pesquisa indicam que as lideranças do MPL-PG são reconhecidas como centrais na direção do movimento e exercem função de intelectual orgânico ao organizarem as ações da Ocupação Ericson John Duarte, produzirem coesão interna e articularem alianças externas. A orientação estratégica que mais se repete é a conquista da moradia digna, operando principalmente pela ação direta de ocupação e pela mobilização, com menções pontuais à disputa eleitoral como possibilidade tática. Ao mesmo tempo, emergem limites relacionados à desagregação de militantes e à disputa do consenso interno, o que reposiciona como tarefa a escuta ativa e a formação política junto às famílias para sustentar o avanço do processo e ampliar e fortalecer a luta pela hegemonia no contexto das lutas do movimentoThe struggle for rights is an integral part of the struggle for hegemony and constitutes a form of resistance against the various forms of oppression experienced within capitalist society. The struggle for the right to housing in different contexts forms part of this process. In the municipality of Ponta Grossa, Paraná, the Popular Struggle Movement (MPL-PG) is currently one of the leading movements in the struggle to guarantee the right to housing for marginalised groups in the local area. It is this movement that has been politically leading the Ericson John Duarte Urban Occupation (also known as the “Ericson John Duarte Community”, “Andorinhas Occupation” or “Occupation in Parque das Andorinhas”), the largest urban occupation in Ponta Grossa. Given this reality, the overall aim of this research was to understand the political praxis of the organic intellectuals of the MPL-PG in the struggle for the right to housing in the municipality of Ponta Grossa, Paraná. The research is qualitative in nature, exploratory and descriptive in character, comprising bibliographic, documentary and fieldwork phases. Through the research findings, we sought to contribute to the debate on the formation and praxis of MPL-PG intellectuals in the struggle for the right to housing, thereby publicising the praxis of ‘those at the bottom’—a subaltern group—and highlighting their leadership and potential in the face of the struggle for hegemony in the local sphere. The results of the interviews conducted with the research subjects indicate that the leaders of the MPL-PG are recognised as central to the movement’s direction and act as organic intellectuals by organising the actions of the Ericson John Duarte Occupation, fostering internal cohesion and forging external alliances. The most frequently cited strategic objective is the attainment of decent housing, achieved primarily through direct occupation and mobilisation, with occasional references to electoral contests as a tactical possibility. At the same time, limitations emerge regarding the fragmentation of activists and the struggle for internal consensus, which re-emphasises the need for active listening and political education amongst families to sustain the progress of the process and to broaden and strengthen the struggle for hegemony within the context of the movement’s struggles.
