Abstract

The objective of the study was to evaluate the Quality of Life of students in the Multifunctional Resource Rooms, of the state education network in the city of Castro- PR, through the application of the student KIDSCREEN-27. In addition to understanding the phenomena, it is intended to propose intervention strategies in the context of School Management and to analyze how it opposes these proposals for change. Data collection took place between September and November 2021. The study was carried out with 148 students, 55 female and 93 male, with a mean age of 13.86 years. The results indicate that the general QOL of students is psychological support (70.74), that the domains that presented the best scores were Social and Peer Group (72.97) and Well-Being (72.20). The lowest index was registered in the domain Autonomy and Relationship with Parents (67.40), which reflects issues between parents and children, lack of autonomy and financial issues. To conclude that there are possibilities to change these indexes through management intervention actions for the development of autonomy in this age group. The biggest limitation is restricted to the financial issue, which directly interferes with the student's Quality of Life and receives less interference from the School Management.
