A Educação nas Folhas Do Jornal "A Plebe": 1917-1919

Abstract

A vinda dos imigrantes ao Brasil, no  nal do século XIX e início do século XX, trouxe consigo diferentes pensamentos para dentro das indústrias, sendo que o anarquismo se converteria na principal corrente organizatória do movimento operário, tanto no Rio de Janeiro quanto em São Paulo. Para os anarquistas o futuro da humanidade exclui todo princípio de autoridade, de domínio e de exploração do homem pelo homem. Preocupados com a formação do homem anarquista, dedicaram escritos e estudos ao tema da educação. A imprensa anarquista e operária, ligada aos sindicatos que eram formados, contribuiu sobremaneira à divulgação dos ideais do movimento e a suas ações políticas, trazendo também um caráter didático e doutrinário. Este artigo tem como objetivo analisar as idéias a respeito de educação encontradas no Jornal anarco-sindicalista “A Plebe”, da cidade de São Paulo, nos anos que vão de 1917 a 1919.

The coming of the immigrants to Brazil, at the end of the 19th century and beginning of the 20th century, brought along different thoughts to industry, and the anarchism which would convert the mainstream working-class in Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo. For the anarchists, the future of the humanity excludes all forms of authority, domain and exploration of man by man. The concern about the education of the anarchic man led to the writing of books and studies about mass education.The anarchic and labor press, connected to the unions that were created, contribu- ted to the spreading of the movement ideals and its political actions, having also a didactic and doctrinal character. This article analyzes the ideas in regard to the education found in the anarco-syndicalist newspaper “A Plebe”, São Paulo, from 1917 to 1919.
