Abstract

This dissertation presents the experiences lived throughout the construction of the master's research, through a cartographic inspiration about how children who went through the author's life experience the space through workshops, exploring new possibilities and ways of thinking Science Teaching in Childhood. The research was developed during six workshops via Whatsapp by childhood narratives group during the Pandemic, with a group of 8 children aged 3 to 11 years old and the author. Throughout the research process, dialogues emerged, historicizing the objects: Childhood, experience, space and Science Teaching. The objective was to analyze how the meeting of children with workshops about space makes the researcher think about her Science Teaching practices in childhood. Cartography was used as an intervention method and was established in the sense of accompanying the processes, rather than representing results by creating possibilities for discourse. Thus, a journey without a pre-established itinerary began. The workshops were devices and the space was the guiding axis of the provocations. Finally, we consider that this experience has given rise to new understandings about childhood, a Childhood of Education, expressing the need to seek new ways of thinking about Science Teaching in the time of aión and kairós, because in the mind of childhood, space is what feels , what you see, what you do in it. Childhood in its potentiality has not yet been heard, it is necessary to infantilize the new possibilities from this surpassed childhood, to perceive it, to inhabit it.
