A devoção ao divino, os devotos e a Casa do Divino: a instituição de um patrimônio cultural em Ponta Grossa, 1882- 2019

Abstract

Knowing and recognizing “ Casa do Divino” (House of the Divine), in Ponta GrossaPR, as cultural heritage from the imbrication of its materiality preserved and registered by the Municipal Cultural Heritage Council (COMPAC),with the devotional practices shared and spatialized over the years and the establishment of the devotees’ social network, which allowed the maintenance and transmission of the devotion to the Divine in that place from 1882 to our days, is the central objective of this thesis. For that reason, a theoretical and methodologically interdisciplinary text is presented, which understands the person who experiences the cultural good as the one who defines what one’s patrimony through the processes of signification and identification. Having as its guiding principle the recognition of the institution as a cultural heritage it is affirmed to be symbolic in its own right and, for this reason, it was analyzed from the point of view of the philosophy of symbolic forms structured by the philosopher Ernst Cassirer in his critique of culture. In this way, devotion to the Divine is recognized as the symbolic form that signifies the experiences of the devotee, articulating them to a world full of meaning conformed by religious thought and as a founding element to configure the “Casa do Divino” (House of the Divine) as cultural patrimony.This is the reason why, a circular analysis of the object is proposed, starting from the moment when the property was registered in 2004 – as a built heritage – and ending at the present time – when the completeness of the concept of cultural heritage is presented: a dialectical relation between material and immaterial. In order to understand the meaning of the House by its devotees, it was necessary to analyze its 136 years of existence and devotion to the Divine, through the experience and spatialization of the practices of devotion maintained until now and the establishment of the social network of the devotees of the House of the Divine . As it is also recognized by those who are not devotees as a representative place in Ponta Grossa, deserving its preservation as a diocesan movement and local cultural patrimony, contacts with members of the Diocese of Ponta Grossa and of municipal public bodies were also analyzed in order to complete the circular analysis of the object.(Re) connaître la Maison du Divin, Ponta Grossa-PR, en tant que patrimoine culturel issu du chevauchement de sa matérialité préservée et enregistrée par le Conseil municipal du patrimoine culturel (COMPAC), avec des pratiques de dévotion partagées et spatialisées au fil des ans et L'établissement de relations sociales qui ont permis la structuration, le maintien et la transmission de la dévotion au Divin dans ce lieu de 1882 à nos jours est l'objectif central de la thèse. Pour cela, un texte théorique et méthodologiquement interdisciplinaire est présenté, qui inclut la personne qui expérimente le bien culturel en tant que celui qui définit son patrimoine à travers les processus de signification et d'identification. La reconnaissance de l’institution en tant que patrimoine culturel s’affirme comme symbole et c’est pour cette raison qu’elle a été analysée à partir de la philosophie des formes symboliques structurée par le philosophe Ernst Cassirer dans sa critique de la culture. De cette manière, la dévotion au Divin est reconnue comme la forme symbolique qui signifie les expériences du dévot, en les articulant dans un monde plein de signification conformé par la pensée religieuse et en tant qu'élément fondateur pour configurer la Maison du Divin en tant que patrimoine culturel. Par conséquent, il est proposé de procéder à une analyse circulaire de l'objet, à partir du moment où le bien a été inscrit sur la liste en 2004 - en tant que patrimoine bâti - et se terminant à l'heure actuelle - lorsque le concept de patrimoine culturel est présenté de manière complète: la relation dialectique entre le matériau et l'environnement. ou immatériel. Pour comprendre le sens de la Chambre par ses fidèles, il était nécessaire d'analyser l'histoire des 136 années d'existence de ce lieu de dévotion pour le Divin à travers l'expérience et la spatialisation des pratiques de dévotion maintenues jusqu'à nos jours et l'établissement du réseau social des fidèles de la Maison du divin. Comme il est également reconnu par ceux qui ne sont pas dévots en tant que lieu représentatif de Ponta Grossa, méritant d'être préservés en tant que mouvement diocésain et inscrits au patrimoine culturel local, des contacts ont également été analysés avec des membres du diocèse de Ponta Grossa et des organismes publics municipaux pour compléter l'analyse circulaire de l'objet.
