História, Trabalho e Educação: Colégio Estadual “Dom Alberto Gonçalves”

Abstract

O presente trabalho se integra ao Grupo de Estudos e Pesquisa “História, Sociedade e Educação no Brasil”, o HISTEDBR, e ao Projeto de Pesquisa do referido grupo,“Levantamento e Catalogação das Fontes Primárias e Secundárias da Educação Brasileira”, e objetiva analisar a relação entre Trabalho e Educação na constituição do Colégio Estadual “Dom Alberto Gonçalves”, localizado no município de Palmeira PR. Para tal, realizou-se, inicialmente, o levantamento, a catalogação e digitalização das fontes primárias e secundárias encontradas no museu da cidade, na escola em questão e no Instituto Histórico e Geográfi co da localidade. Em seguida, as fontes foram consideradas relacionando-se as peculiaridades do município de Palmeira com o contexto social e econômico do país sob a ótica analítica das categorias Trabalho e Educação. Dessa forma, baseando-se na perspectiva histórico-materialista, concluí-se que a Educação na região foi construída na lógica capitalista, visando a atender às necessidades econômicas de desenvolvimento local

This work is part of the Study and Research Group “History, Society and Education in Brazil” and of the Research Project of the Group “Inventory and Cataloguing of Primary and Secondary Sources of Brazilian Education”. The study aims to analyze the relationship between work and education in the creation of Dom Alberto Gonçalves Public School, located in Palmeira - PR. To this end, an initial survey, cataloguing and digitization of primary and secondary sources found in the city museum, in the school studied and in the Institute of History and Geography of the town took place. The sources were considered pertinent to the peculiarities of Palmeira, with the social and economic context of the country from the analytical viewpoint of the categories work and education.
